About

DEAR COLLEAGUE! 

The Faculty of Soil Science of Lomonosov Moscow State University invites you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Mathematical Modeling in Soil Science and Ecology", which will be held May 27-31, 2026, at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow. The conference is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the outstanding soil scientist, Professor Alexey Andreevich Rode.
 
The scientific program of the conference is based on interdisciplinarity and applied aspects of soil science and is devoted to methods of mathematical modeling of natural and anthropogenically altered ecosystems: their application for forecasting and environmental management, integration of new empirical data and computational technologies into models of climatic, hydrological and soil processes, as well as bridging the gap between fundamental research and practical tasks of nature management and environmental regulation.
 
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE 
To create a platform for sharing experience in the development, calibration, validation and application of models for risk assessment, forecasting environmental changes, and developing adaptation and mitigation measures for global and regional changes.
The conference aims to unite scientists working at the intersection of disciplines to disseminate advanced scientific and practical experience and discuss prospects for development and cooperation.

Keywords: Energy and mass transfer, hydrothermal regime, carbon, fertility, pesticides and agrochemicals, forecasting and management, global and regional models, risk assessment, GIS, digital technologies, big data.

Conference format: Plenary sessions, sectional meetings, and poster session. Remote participation is possible.
Working languages: Russian, English
The topics for the sessions and roundtables will be determined based on the submitted papers. Papers that are not on the conference topic will be rejected by the program committee without explanation.

Publications
Abstracts will not be published. Papers will be published as articles (5-10 pages long) in the Conference Proceedings (RSCI).
The authors of the best papers will be invited to submit their papers as scientific articles to the journal EURASIAN SOIL SCIENCE.
