Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the International Forum "Russian Language and Literature as a Means of Russian Identity Formation and International Integration" (April 2^nd – 8^th, 2023). The importance of this forum is irrevocably linked with the strengthening of the positions that representatives of the Russian scientific and educational community maintain in the global academic environment, as well as creating a favorable image of the Russian Federation by expanding the network of partnerships and professional contacts.

             The following scientific and educational events are planned to be held within the framework of the forum:

1. April 2^nd – 5^th – International scientific and practical conference "Russian as a foreign language: history, the present day and the future", marking the 40th anniversary of the Department of Russian as a foreign language and the 45th anniversary of teaching Russian as a foreign language at Kazan University
2. April 2^nd – 4^th – Off-site meeting of the Russian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (ROPRYAL) Board (Russian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature President – Vladimir Tolstoy,  Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation on cultural issues, Chairman of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Supervisory Board, President of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL), President of the Russian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (ROPRYAL).
3. April 4^th -8^th  – Interregional creative workshop for writers of the Volga Federal District, organized by  the Association of the Union of Writers and Publishers of Russia (Association chairman - Sergey Shargunov, a  writer and the editor-in-chief of “Yunost” (Youth) magazine).

The format of the event is on-site and mixed (hybrid).

Travel, accommodation and meals for full-time participants:  at the expense of the sending party.
